A short marriage ceremony for couples who want the legal part done simply and properly. I prepare and lodge your notice of intended marriage, check your documents, and lead a ceremony of about ten minutes with the words the law requires, plus your own vows and rings if you like. You sign with your two witnesses, and I lodge your marriage with the registry afterwards. Simple and Standard run on weekdays or mornings; Plus can be on a weekend.

How it gets paid

50% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.

Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.

Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.

Your notice of intended marriage. Your signed notice must reach me one to 18 months before, counted from receipt; I cannot waive that. If it is late, a court or registry officer may shorten the time on limited grounds; my letter is $300. Otherwise the day becomes a commitment ceremony, legal signing later included.
The booking. The deposit holds your date; the balance is due a month before, like your notice.
What is included. Your package sets the place and time, always with your notice, paperwork, about ten minutes of ceremony and lodgement. No rehearsal, PA or signing table unless listed; the official certificate is $70.
Witnesses and places. Bring two witnesses aged 18 or over, or I supply them at $50 each. A park permit is yours; travel past 40 km is $1 per km.
Lateness. A start delayed on your side costs $50 for each started hour I wait past 20 minutes, up to $300; I tell you first.
GST and loadings. Prices include GST where it applies. Public holidays add 30 percent; other loadings show above with rate and days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if I am free and your notice holds, less costs bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request.
Transfer. Your notice moves to another celebrant only with your agreement; if you ask, I transfer it promptly, as a cancellation.
If I cannot attend. If for any reason I cannot attend, I arrange another authorised celebrant where possible, for you to agree, at my cost; if your notice cannot reach them, it is a commitment ceremony, legal signing later included. If you decline or none is arranged, all paid is refunded.
Cancellation. In writing; I keep only the real loss. With 31 days notice or more, all is refunded less paperwork time at $50 per hour, hours shown, up to the deposit. With 14 to 30 days, I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, up to the deposit. Under 14 days I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, never more than the payments due.
