A ceremony for couples renewing their vows, or for couples making a commitment to each other without a legal marriage. I write it around your story, with new vows, readings and rituals such as a candle, sand or hand tree ceremony, and lead it on the day for your family and friends. It has no legal effect, so there is no notice of intended marriage, no registry lodgement and no one month wait.

How it gets paid

30% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.

Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.

Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.

These terms cover the ceremony you approve on this page.

No legal effect. This ceremony has no legal effect, and its certificate is a keepsake, not a legal record. A legal marriage is a separate booking with its own notice of intended marriage.
The booking. The deposit holds your date, and the balance is paid 14 days before the ceremony.
What is included. Your package above sets the meetings, the writing and the rituals. Ritual items such as candles or sand are yours unless listed above.
Travel. Travel beyond 60 km of my base is $20 for each 10 km, shown to you first.
Lateness. A start delayed on your side costs $50 for each started hour I wait past 20 minutes, up to $300; I tell you first.
GST and loadings. Prices include GST where it applies. Public holidays add 30 percent; other loadings show above with rate and days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if I am free, less costs bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request.
If I cannot attend. If for any reason I cannot attend, I offer another celebrant of equal standing for you to approve, paid by me from your fee. If you decline or none is arranged, all paid is refunded.
Cancellation. In writing; I keep only the real loss. With 60 days notice or more, all is refunded less writing time at $50 per hour, hours shown, up to the deposit. With 14 to 59 days, I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, up to the deposit. Under 14 days I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, never more than the payments due.
