The scope

What the client reads

This is the wording the template arrives with. Yours replaces it.

Flowers for the bride and the wedding party, made fresh and collected from my studio the afternoon before the wedding. Each package lists every piece and its price, so you can add a buttonhole or drop a posy and see the total change. We choose the colours and flowers together from your dress, your palette and the season, and I show you a mood board before anything is ordered. Delivery with setup starts at a $1,000 order, the event minimum, while a full wedding order has a $2,500 minimum because it covers the ceremony and the reception too.

Deposit, then balance

How it gets paid

25% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.

Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.

Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.

What approving the page records

The starting terms

These sit above the approve button. The client reads them, and approving records that they accepted them.

These terms cover this order.

  • The booking. The deposit holds your date; the balance is due 14 days before.
  • Collection. Collect from my studio the afternoon before, and keep the flowers cool, shaded and in water. Collection has no minimum; morning delivery within 45 minutes adds $150, and delivery with setup starts at a $1,000 order.
  • Changes. Welcome until 28 days before, then fixed, as flowers are ordered.
  • Season, colour and heat. Photos are a guide; flowers vary. A flower swapped for season or quality keeps your colours and look, of equal or greater value; if the change shows, I tell you first and you choose from my options. Wilting after delivery from heat, weather, sun or venue conditions is outside my control; faulty work I put right.
  • GST and loadings. Prices include GST where it applies. Peak rates show above with their days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
  • Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if I am free, less flowers bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request.
  • If I cannot deliver. If for any reason I cannot deliver, all paid is refunded, unless you accept a florist of equal standing I offer.
  • Cancellation. In writing; I keep only the real loss. With 60 days notice or more, all is refunded less design time at $90 an hour, hours shown, up to the deposit. With 7 to 59 days, I keep that design time plus anything already bought or made for your order, shown, up to the deposit; the rest comes back. Under 7 days I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, such as flowers not yet bought and making up time, never more than the payments due.

Approving this page records that you accepted this scope, this price and these terms.

Starting terms, not legal advice. Read them, change what does not match how you work, and have a lawyer look at them if the work is large enough to warrant it. Your own default terms in Settings replace these automatically.
