The scope

What the client reads

This is the wording the template arrives with. Yours replaces it.

Flowers for a business event, such as a launch, a gala dinner, a conference or an awards night. Each package lists every piece and its price, from a foyer statement and bar pieces to table centrepieces and hanging or beam installs. My team delivers, installs and bumps out around your venue's times, and the invoice shows every line. Delivery and setup start at a $1,000 order, which every package here meets.

Deposit, then balance

How it gets paid

30% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.

Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.

Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.

What approving the page records

The starting terms

These sit above the approve button. The client reads them, and approving records that they accepted them.

These terms cover this order.

  • The booking. The deposit holds your date; the balance is invoiced 21 days and paid 14 days before.
  • Delivery and pack down. Hanging and beam installs need rigging points your venue approves in writing first. Venues beyond 45 minutes add $300. Bump in before 6am or bump out after 11pm adds $250 each.
  • Changes. Welcome until 28 days before, then fixed, except the table count, which closes 14 days before.
  • Hired pieces. Where a package includes hired frames, plinths or vases, I collect them at pack down. A $500 bond, held on your card with the final payment, is released within 14 days of collection, less loss or damage itemised at replacement cost and shown to you first.
  • Season, colour and heat. Photos are a guide; flowers vary. A flower swapped for season or quality keeps your colours and look, of equal or greater value; if the change shows, I tell you first and you choose from my options. Wilting after delivery from heat, weather, sun or venue conditions is outside my control; faulty work I put right.
  • Venue. Get venue permission for candles and confirm access times; refused or unsafe access leaves the flowers there.
  • GST and loadings. Prices are before GST; where I am registered, 10 percent GST is added on the invoice. Peak rates show above with their days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
  • Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if I am free, less flowers bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request.
  • If I cannot deliver. If for any reason I cannot deliver, all paid is refunded, unless you accept a florist of equal standing I offer.
  • Cancellation. In writing; I keep only the real loss. With 60 days notice or more, all is refunded less design time at $90 an hour, hours shown, up to the deposit. With 7 to 59 days, I keep that design time plus anything already bought or made for your order, shown, up to the deposit; the rest comes back. Under 7 days I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, such as flowers not yet bought, labour, delivery and hire, never more than the payments due.

Approving this page records that you accepted this scope, this price and these terms.

Starting terms, not legal advice. Read them, change what does not match how you work, and have a lawyer look at them if the work is large enough to warrant it. Your own default terms in Settings replace these automatically.
