Hourly hire of our hall or studio for a party, a class, a meeting or a rehearsal. Each package sets the hourly rate, the minimum hours and what is included, from tables and chairs to the kitchen and our AV. You bring your own food and set up, and leave the space as you found it. The price shown is the minimum booking.

Deposit, then balance

How it gets paid

50% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.

Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.

Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.

What approving the page records

The starting terms

These sit above the approve button. The client reads them, and approving records that they accepted them.

The booking. The deposit holds your date; the balance and a $300 bond are due 7 days before, or everything at booking inside 7 days.
Final numbers. Fixed 7 days before; they set the layout and staff, not the price, and may rise only within capacity and the fire limit.
Hours. Setup and pack down sit inside your hours. Extra time you ask for, if the hall is free, is your hourly rate in half hour blocks; $110 per hour after a full day.
Drinks. Your own alcohol given free needs no licence; selling it, even by ticket, needs one, which is yours. Never serve anyone under 18. We may stop service and ask an intoxicated or disorderly guest to leave.
Care of the venue. We carry public liability cover; you answer for guests and suppliers. Damage at repair or replacement cost and extra cleaning at $60 per hour come, itemised, from the bond, the rest returned within 14 days of inspection; leave it swept, bins out, kitchen wiped.
House rules. Blu Tack only; no tape, nails, staples or naked flames; confetti, glitter or petals add $200 cleaning. Bands and DJs need approval; music stops by 10:30pm, everyone out by 11pm.
Parking and access. Parking: the hall car park. Step free access: yes, by the front ramp.
Pricing. Prices include GST where it applies. Public holidays add 10 percent to the bill, replacing a Sunday rate shown with its days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if we are free, less costs bought at cost, a dearer night at its rate; else the scale runs from your request.
If we cannot host. If for any reason we cannot host: a comparable space you approve, or a full refund.
Cancellation. In writing; we keep only the real loss. With 14 days notice or more, all is refunded. With 7 to 13 days, we keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, up to the deposit. Under 7 days we keep the price less refill and costs saved, never more than the payments due.
