The page your client opens
The whole thing, liveNot a screenshot. This is the real client page running on an invented deal. Pick a package and press approve to see what your client would see; nothing is sent or charged.
Deposit, then balance
How it gets paid50% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.
Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.
Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.
What approving the page records
The starting termsThese sit above the approve button. The client reads them, and approving records that they accepted them.
- The booking. The deposit holds the date; the balance is due 7 days before. Food registration on request.
- Final numbers. Guests, minimum 40, are fixed 14 days before, then may rise at your tier's rate per guest, not fall.
- Design. Fixed 14 days before; later changes, where possible, $60 per hour, shown first. Handmade work never copies a photo exactly.
- Allergens. Unless shown otherwise, my kitchen handles gluten, eggs, nuts and dairy; traces may occur. Tell me allergies in writing. Gluten free, nut free or vegan adds $1 per guest.
- Fresh flowers. From you or your florist, placed only if food safe, stems wrapped, removed before serving; I may decline any.
- Handover. Someone must receive it, and we record by photo or signature the time, place, condition and receiver; faults before handover are mine, after it, yours or the venue's.
- Storage. Keep it cool, out of sun and hot cars, displayed up to 2 hours, cream items 90 minutes, in air conditioning; fondant stays unrefrigerated. Venue cool storage is yours.
- Delivery. Delivery and an hour of setup within 20 km are included. Further is $1 per km each way.
- Stand hire. A $200 bond, held on your card with the final payment, is released within 14 days of collection, less loss or damage itemised at replacement cost and shown to you first.
- GST and loadings. Prices include GST where it applies. Holiday rates show above with their days and replace weekend rates, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
- Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if I am free, less ingredients bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request.
- If I cannot deliver. If for any reason I cannot deliver, I offer a maker of equal standing for your approval, or refund all paid.
- Cancellation. In writing; I keep only the real loss. With 60 days notice or more, all is refunded less design time at $60 per hour, hours shown, up to the deposit. With 14 to 59 days, I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, up to the deposit. Under 14 days I keep the price less refill earnings and costs saved, never more than the payments due.
Approving this page records that you accepted this scope, this price and these terms.
Starting terms, not legal advice. Read them, change what does not match how you work, and have a lawyer look at them if the work is large enough to warrant it. Your own default terms in Settings replace these automatically.
