Deposit, then balance
How it gets paid30% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.
Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.
Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.
What approving the page records
The starting termsThese sit above the approve button. The client reads them, and approving records that they accepted them.
Deposit holds the date; balance due 14 days before.
- Hours. Setup, about an hour before, and pack down never count in the playing hours. Overtime is $100 per performer per hour, in 30 minute blocks, agreed before it starts.
- Breaks. Your playlist fills the breaks.
- Venue. Before booking, send the venue's sound level, finish time, power and load in access. Music cut by its limiter or curfew is no fault, provided we keep to the level and finish time you pass on. Licences are the venue's or organiser's; a private home needs none.
- Outdoors. Outdoor sets need a covered, dry, level, powered space. If there is none, or rain reaches the gear, the set moves inside; if it cannot, the rest of the booking runs and only the hours not played are refunded.
- Meals and parking. On 3 hours or more, each performer needs a meal and water. Load in parking is yours, or repaid at cost.
- Equipment. Guests damaging our gear pay replacement cost, or repair if less.
- Requests. Requests and a do not play list are due 14 days before; we take requests and pick each next song.
- Travel. Within 45 minutes of our base is included; further is quoted first.
- GST and loadings. Prices include GST where it applies. Holiday loadings show above with rate and days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
- Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if we are free, less costs bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request.
- If we cannot attend. An absent performer is replaced by an equal one. If for any reason the act cannot attend, we offer an act of equal standing for you to approve; if you decline or none is arranged, all paid is refunded.
- Cancellation. In writing; we keep only the real loss. With 60 days notice or more, all is refunded less planning time at $100 per hour, shown, up to the deposit. With 14 to 59 days, we keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, up to the deposit. Under 14 days, we keep the price less refill earnings and costs saved, such as a performer not yet booked, never more than the payments due.
Approving this page records that you accepted this scope, this price and these terms.
Starting terms, not legal advice. Read them, change what does not match how you work, and have a lawyer look at them if the work is large enough to warrant it. Your own default terms in Settings replace these automatically.
