A DJ who is also your MC, covering the ceremony, the cocktail hour and the reception. I play your ceremony music, run the microphone for your celebrant, and host the reception: the entrance, the speeches in the order you set, the cake and the first dance. Each package sets how much of the day I cover and the sound and lighting I bring.

Deposit, then balance

How it gets paid

30% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.

Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.

Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.

What approving the page records

The starting terms

These sit above the approve button. The client reads them, and approving records that they accepted them.

Deposit holds the date; balance due 14 days before.

Hours. Setup, about an hour before, and pack down never count in the playing hours. Overtime is $100 per hour, in 30 minute blocks, agreed before it starts.
Run sheet. The run sheet, names to announce and speeches order are fixed 14 days before; later changes where I can.
Venue. Before booking, send the venue's sound level, finish time, power and load in access. Music cut by its limiter or curfew is no fault, provided I keep to the level and finish time you pass on. Licences are the venue's or organiser's; a private home needs none.
Outdoors. Outdoor sets need a covered, dry, level, powered space. If there is none, or rain reaches the gear, the set moves inside; if it cannot, the rest of the booking runs and only the hours not played are refunded.
Meals and parking. I need a meal and water. Load in parking is yours, or repaid at cost.
Equipment. Guests damaging my gear pay replacement cost, or repair if less.
Requests. Requests and a do not play list are due 14 days before; I take requests and pick each next song.
Travel. Within 45 minutes of my base is included; further is quoted first.
GST and loadings. Prices include GST where it applies. Holiday loadings show above with rate and days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if I am free, less costs bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request.
If I cannot attend. If for any reason I cannot attend, I offer a DJ and MC of equal standing for you to approve; if you decline or none is arranged, all paid is refunded.
Cancellation. In writing; I keep only the real loss. With 90 days notice or more, all is refunded less planning time at $100 per hour, shown, up to the deposit. With 30 to 89 days, I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, up to the deposit. Under 30 days, I keep the price less refill earnings and costs saved, such as a second sound system, never more than the payments due.
