The page your client opens
The whole thing, liveNot a screenshot. This is the real client page running on an invented deal. Pick a package and press approve to see what your client would see; nothing is sent or charged.
Deposit, then balance
How it gets paid50% is due when the client approves, and the balance when you mark the work delivered. Both payments happen on the same link the proposal is on.
Card or bank transfer, and you choose which per deal. If you want a package to bill every month instead of once, you set that on the package itself when you build the deal, and the client can cancel it from their own link.
Prices are a starting point in Australian dollars. Change the figures, the inclusions and the number of packages to suit what you sell.
What approving the page records
The starting termsThese sit above the approve button. The client reads them, and approving records that they accepted them.
- Booking. The deposit fixes the print date. The balance is due on your sign off of the final proof, for Heirloom half then, half at strike off approval; paper is bought only after the first of those payments.
- Final numbers. Minimum run 25 digital, 35 foil or letterpress. Until the print date, numbers change at the extra 10 rate above; after it, additions are a new run at cost, with its minimum; numbers never fall.
- Proofs. Package rounds included, then $25 each. Written sign off on the final proof is final: before print, a change is $40, or a $25 round after 24 hours; after print, your error is reprinted at cost, mine free.
- Colour and paper. Screen colour differs from print; a printed proof is quoted if asked. Unavailable paper becomes equal or better, told first.
- Envelopes and postage. Addressing $15 per 10 envelopes, assembly $2 a suite, unless included. Addresses come as a spreadsheet, a column per line, fixed on the print date. Delivery is free; guest postage at cost, about $1 a stamp.
- Lead times. They run from sign off; a rush adds 25 percent.
- Copyright. Mine; your suite and files are for personal use, this event only. My portfolio may show it without guest details unless you opt out.
- GST and loadings. Prices include GST where it applies. Holiday rates show above with their days, never stacked; if none is shown, none applies. Card payment adds no fee.
- Date moves. One move within 12 months of the booked date keeps all paid if I am free, less costs bought at cost; else the scale runs from your request; a new date on printed pieces is a reprint at cost.
- Cannot deliver. If for any reason I cannot deliver, I offer an equal stationer you approve, or refund all paid.
- Cancellation. In writing; I keep only the real loss. With 30 days notice or more before the print date, all is refunded less design time at $75 an hour, hours shown, up to the deposit. With 7 to 29 days, I keep the price less what refilling the date earns and costs saved, up to the deposit. Under 7 days, or once paper is bought after the sign off payment, the price less refill and costs saved, never more than the payments due.
Approving this page records that you accepted this scope, this price and these terms.
Starting terms, not legal advice. Read them, change what does not match how you work, and have a lawyer look at them if the work is large enough to warrant it. Your own default terms in Settings replace these automatically.
